Through my research on Print Journalism, i've found a lot of interesting information about the industry. I have learned what it takes to work for a magazine or newspaper.  It's a stressful and  very active environment  most of the time.  It takes a lot of responsibility and passion to work in this industry.

The information i have found has not changed my mind about working in this industry.  I can definitely see myself working for a magazine when i'm older.

Handling Stress

College is a lot of fun and I have a lot of freedom, but there are still many things that make college life stressful.  My schoolwork is the most stressful thing about college.  I have so much free time, but I have to learn how to properly manage it.  Even though I have other things going on in my life, I have to realize that my schoolwork is the reason that i'm here.  

On top of that, i have other student organizations, my sorority, and my friends.  Trying to balance all of these things can get pretty stressful, but I have learned how to deal with them.  I keep organized by marking everything down (assignments, events, etc.) in my planner.  I also have a big calendar in my dorm where i can write important things.  I also try to maximize my productivity by limiting my time watching TV and going on Facebook or Twitter!
